it didnt work just disconnected after 2 hrs
That would be just be wireless issues, you need to use a cable connection for gaming. Wireless is not reliable enough, and will disconnect if there is interference.
If you cannot run a cable, then use powerline adapters.
I've tried many times none worked

but if it worked before with virgin how does it suddenly do it now. Wireless was never a problem before!
All wireless routers behave differently due to different chipsets inside. Have you still got your old router?

That is a cable router, so you would not be able to use it on a BT line, however you could use the wireless
part of it, instead of using the BT Home hub wireless, that may solve your problem, as its a wireless issue.
I will look at the manual for you, and suggest the best way to do it.
Section 2 of the manual tells you how to use it purely as a wireless access point.
You must however change the IP address of the device, as its in the wrong subnet.
I would suggest that you change it to 192.168.1.15.
Once you have done that, you simply connect it to one of the HH2 Ethernet ports, and turn the HH2 wireless off.
You should then be using your old wireless router as an access point.
If you have not got a full manual, then let me know.
