YouView Box power supply broken

Youview Box not working so had a look, moved plug and the cable is loose and began sparking - dangerous! Are BT kind enough to send a replacement? Especially as I've just spent £130 on an engineer coming out for something else!

BT would want to send a replacement box, and you would have to send the existing one back in the returns box provided, however you may be able to locate a replacement online, as they are very common.

You would have to still be in a BT TV contract to get a replacement loaned box.

I assume you are paying out £130  for an internal master socket move?

Happy to receive a new box. I'll have to get in touch with them and see if they oblige. Thank you.

You may also want to look into why it broke in the first place if it could be something to do with your home environment.
