YouView box constant freezes since update yesterday

Our UHD youview box received an update yesterday, since the update pressing trying to get into MyTv or settings menu results in a permanent freeze and I have to power the box off.  I've tried several power cycles but its still the same, even pressing the guide button brings up the blue background but no guide loads.This is very frustrating.

 

Selecting MyTv takes about 60 seconds for the recordings to display

 

Software version is 28.26.0

 

Any advice appreciated.
