I gather from previous posts this is a common problem.
For the last few weeks, the YouView box hasn't been working correctly. previously, it was fine. All Freeview channels are fine. Catch Up and 'saved' programmes freeze and the recorder only records the first few seconds of a programme. I've checked every connection, unplugged everything and plugged it all back in, switched it off at the socket and on again and carried out a full factory reset at least eight times. Handset and wifi connection are okay. Nothing has worked. Any ideas before I change to Sky?

You'll need to be in touch with TV faults who will replace the equipment if necessary.
Get it changed out quick as suggested by @Danathan
It sounds like classic Hard Disk Drive about to go from working to rule to all out on strike {sorry, couldn't resist it}
