My last loss of channel events due to this fault were on the 7th and 21st Jan. Obviously, all of us on Emley Moor had to retune all our devices on the 5th Feb as that was due to frequency changes. My experiences tie in precisely with the published events at https://www.rxtvlog.com/p/freeview-updates.html
i.e. I've not seen any issue over the last few days and wasn't expecting to.
Just noticed on https://www.rxtvlog.com/p/freeview-updates.html that there is a Freeview change scheduled for the 26th Feb. As this is a frequency change on one channel and the suggestion is to kick off a retune to pick the channel back up, it might not be the sort of change to trigger the issue on the YouView boxes - but I thought I'd flag it up just in case and will make a note to check mine tomorrow evening.
And as if by magic ... yes you guessed it. Yet another retune was required today. 😫
And it's DITTO from me.
and here 🙄
@stein mine was OK today. Makes me wonder if the recent frequency changes have tipped the balance in some way for me so I'm not seeing the problem as much as I used to. Checking the change log again https://www.rxtvlog.com/p/freeview-updates.html it seems the one change I noted yesterday has become several changes which might explain why it has occurred again.
My channels updated but did not loose any. I haven’t lost any for a good while now.
I hope that BT can get it sorted for you all.
Retune needed on the East Midlands transmitter too (Melton Mowbray?)
Had to retune mine twice tonight. Also from the Waltham transmitter. What with this and the constant failed recordings I'm seriously considering dumping this and going to sky.
Another retune needed yesterday (1st March). East midlands transmitter.
