What standby mode is your Youview box in ?
Try setting up a recording via the app whilst you are at home and your Youview box is on - does that recording get set up OK?
I suggest raising with Youview -
their experts (normally around Mon-Friday) should be able to advise if they have seen reports of similar problems and suggest how to proceed.
Have you tried a soft reboot of the Youview box or just powering it down for a few minutes? Those processes can often restore normal use.
