Youview box not loading

My YouView box has stopped working. It powers on but then won’t get past the YouView loading screen, it then just keeps cycling between the waking up screen and YouView loading screen. I have powered it down and waited for at least 30 seconds. I have also tried to reset but it won’t load . It also makes  beeping noises when in the YouView loading screen. We've had you view many years and this is our second box after the original white one so must be 10 years old , has it finally given uo ?

Most likely the internal hard disk has failed.

Provided you are still in a BT TV contract, then ask BT for a replacement.

Hi @Trev81 and thanks for posting. I've had the exact same problem with a previous box, the hard drive just kept spinning. Mine was faulty and was replaced without any problem. @Keith_Beddoe is right. YOu'll need to call the faults guys to arrange a replacement. 0800 111 4567.

Called and they tried resetting it their end but no joy so new box is in the way .
