Youview box will not turn on without reset

We had an issue recently with missing channels, so we had a replacement 4k YV box provided.

Now, the box will not turn on in the morning unless I turn off the plug first. I've hard reset the box, reset the remote and also changed power settings so it's always on (purple light).

Once it's on, it's fine all day without issue but its just that I have to reset it everyday before it will turn on.

Hi @ACJMY2K welcome to the forum and thanks for your post. I've not come across this before but it may be to do with the standby mode. Check out what mode you are on and see if changing it to one of the other options resolves the problem? BT TV standby modes and how to manage them.

Thanks yeah I thought this too - it was on smart so I changed it to 'always on' but the problem still occurs
