Just bought a new jvc LT-42C550, tried to connect my youview remote to it using the code 2788 but nothing and after a few minutes the control gives up and the blue like goes off.
anyone had this issue?

I know my colleague helped someone before who discovered their JVC TV was a re-badged Vestel TV and using their code worked.

I did read that and try the vestal code but with no success, I will try again though.

I spoke to BT on the phenomenon and they sent me a new controller out (which is the same as my last one) but still no success.
