Zoom 5003 error

I have been using Zoom successfully for over a month.  From Wednesday 13th May I started to experience timeout problems.  These have become successively worst and now I often simply cannot connect and am sent a 5003 error suggesting blocking by a firewall or bad proxy.  All of this applies only when I am connected through my own BT broadband.  If I connect via BT Fon everything still works fine.  I realise this is rather a technical question but hope someone may be albe to help me to understand what I need to do to correct it please.  Many thanks.

@Christophertout 

Check that BT Protect is not activated on your BT Account, as that can give connection issues.

Try turning Smart Setup off if you have not already done it.
