The add on your thinking of is for data not minutes however bt are introducing a service called roam like home from June 1st and it will allow you to use the UK allowances you get to ring and text a uk number while your in Croatia. In regards to data if you have a package that includes 20gb of data or more than there is a surcharge if you use more than 15gb in Croatia.

Lastly double check roaming is turned on before you leave the UK. You can do this by either ringing or going on live chat you can also do it by logging in online and checking the tools to manage your spend section online or by checking the bt mobile app.

I understood that the dropping of roaming charges was a EU thing that all networks must comply with. I'm disappointed that the ad on pages are still trying to sell packages at the end of May.
