Go to solution

My latest bill contains direct debit stoppage for sport subscription that I neither wanted or agreed to as I am on annual deal which is due for renewal very soon. What a brilliant way to encourage a customer in continued support?.However how does one get this rectified, anybody to the rescue please.

Re: billing error

Not an error as far as BT are concerned.

You're probably like me - Sport was bundled free for me - didn't really want it; it was just part of my order.

My last bill shows that BT are now charging £5 a month for Sport and increased my rental by £1 a month. Complained to BT that they were breaking an OFCOM directive - if BT increase prices within your 1st year contract you can cancel, within 30 days, with no penalty - I've cancelled and switch supplier in about a week.

Something else to be aware of (from BT Code of Practice)
