Hello one and all.... My down loads are as slow as a slug on a chilli morning, I have recently had my computer reformatted as I thought that it mitt be the problem.

I have a good gaming computer and its taken almost two hours to down load, and its still going as I type, I have spoken to people at bt broadband and they have said monitor the bt  hub and we will call you back in a couple days

but they don't.

this driving me up the wall, I am getting impatient now

in order to help please can you post the adsl stats from your router may need to 'show detail' to get all stats (if hub enter in your browser and navigate to adsl or use a-z, if netgear enter and run btspeedtester (MAC users may have problems) and post the results .

are you connected directly to the NTE5 master or test socket or to somewhere else? Do you have any phone extension sockets in your home?

Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone

Someone may then be able to offer help/assistance/suggestions to your problem
