Re: bt broadband/aol

I'd say so 🙂 Should you for some reason need to reinstall AOL software you'll either have the disks they provided or be able to do it via their website.

Re: bt broadband/aol

Completely safe to delete all AOL software. You may find signing onto your AOL email through the aol.co.uk website usefull - I still use my old aol email addresses for competitions etc and keeping my BT more secure. Also usefull if you want to keep in touch but not enough to give out your new BT address!

Re: bt broadband/aol

The only downside I can see is that you will lose any old email that was saved in the AOL software.

Oh yes, good point - and you'll lose your favourites, unless you have them saved in IE or Chrome etc as well as the aol software!

Re: bt broadband/aol

you can lift all those saved emails from within the software.

I cant remember how, but there are tutorials on the net.
