bt.com home Page

I have a new computer running Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 11 but when I hit "make bt.com my home page" I am told that I am using "an old version of Internet Explorer" or "my computer is not compatibe". How do I get bt.com as my home page? The BT help pages do not address this issue and 0800 111 4567 are no help.

Open Internet Explorer > Go to the BT homepage > at the menu bar for IE go to Tools > internet Options > General > Homepage box > Use current. This should put BT homebage in the box > click OK and close.

 

 

If by any chance you have BTDesktop help installed I would uninstall it. It has problems with IE11 amongst other problems and is not needed on your computer.
