Re: BT DNS Issue Currently in London?

Same here in Sussex 8 am on the dot it started. Just tried tumblr and flickr not available on my connection. On my phone it's fine.

Also won't connect properly to games on either xbox1 of ps4. First day off in ages with the wife at work 😞

Could explain why my VPN keeps dropping out

Just tried connecting via a German VPN and it's solved the problems. Strange.

Yep, roughly the same time it started happening here, seems like its more of a wide scale problem from looking at the other topics

Re: bt dns issues southwest

it peeves me that bt haven't acknowledged a problem yet.checked my line with the checker and it reports no problems in my area..they are diabolically slow in these situations.

It's been a total disaster here in the North West. Lasted about 1 hour.

Also reports coming in from other regions.

Recovering now though.......

Re: bt dns issues southwest

It was never a problem with the DNS, I've not used BT DNS for 4 years and yet I was still effected by the problems this morning. IT WAS (still is for me without VPN) A ROUTING ISSUE.

Cheers, Andy.

Re: BT DNS Issue Currently in London?

The message on 0800 169 0199 says there is a major problem affecting "some" customers and "some" websites!
