hello had bt infinity 2 installed yesterday , have been wating speeds as was on 8mbps before and so far they have been between 7.74mbps and 51.36mbps
i was told i could expect between 68-80 mbps and upload 19-20mbps
minimum guaranteed speed i can expect from bt infinity will be 60mbps
will the speeds increase over the first 7-10 days or has it already reached its peak , i had to unplug it this morning but any help or advise appreciated

You are getting about 61mbs, which is what BT said you will get.
Are you sure you are not confusing megaBYTES mB/s with megaBITS?
61mbit/s (megabits) = 7.625mB/s (megaBYTES), which is about what you are getting.
Could you please post the results from the BT Speedtester, including the further diagnostics.

was this self install? if so can you use the test socket with a new filter and repost your stats
yes was a self install , do you mean take the plate off and straight into test socket

am getting nowhere near 61mbs have only had between range of 7-51mbs
you have a 61mb connection speed which can be seen from the stats you posted - BT quote connection speed not download speed
ok i see what you mean , so can i expect download speeds to come up nearer the 61mbps ?
