Perhaps it is too far away from the mini hob, to pick up the wireless signal?

Re: bt mini hub 4g and ps4

it's plugged into the ps4 for charging and sits about 2 ft above it , i'm on the laptop  about 3 meter's away , the speed on the laptop is good, but on the mini hub there is no ethernet connection

not sure what else to try ???

Re: bt mini hub 4g and ps4

The mini hub does not have an Ethernet connection.

Can the PS4 detect other nearby wireless networks?

Can it see the mini hub wireless network, bu its failing when you try to connect to it?

Perhaps the 2.4Ghz wireless is not being transmitted from the mini hub, and only the 5GHz signal is present, that the PS4 would not be able to see?

Do you have any other devices that only use 2.4GHz wireless, and can they connect to the mini hub?

Re: bt mini hub 4g and ps4

That is the only wireless net work around, i don't have any other devices to test,

the ps4 can do 2.4 or 5 ghz  but it needs to find the hub first

perhaps it's not picking it up because it's 4 g rather than wifi is that correct ?????

The mini hub transmits a wireless signal not 4G.

As your laptop is picking up the wireless signal, then it has to be a problem with the PS4. Perhaps wireless has been turned off on the PS4?
