My btopenworld email account is not appearing on my list of email accounts. All the btinternet accounts are appearing. I need to access my btopenworld webmail (due to problem on my Mac mail), but cannot find it! Anyone any ideas how to find this email account? Something to do with the move from Yahoo?
Your xxx@btopenworld.com email address is also xxx@btinternet.com email address. The 2 are interchangeable, try entering the address as xxx@btinternet.com
Why do you need to go through MyBT? Just enter the email address in the direct login https://home.bt.com/login/loginform?TARGET=$SM$https%3A%2F%2Fsignin1.bt.com%2Fbtmail%2Fsecure%2Femai...
Try logging in with the address as @btinternet.com rather than @openworld.com
I discovered this because my bt accounts are now not sending emails from either my MacBook mail application or iPhone. The MacBook comes up with a message that says the mail.btinternet.com server has recognised my mail as spam and won't send it. Emails are still arriving OK. I have logged on to webmail with one of the @BTinternet.com addresses and all is well. Can send and receive from webmail, but given I cannot find my @btopenworld email account on the list then I cannot actually go to the webmail.

This sounds like a problem which you cannot address - but which BT people with access can - you need to contact BT to resolve this, I'm guessing - probably when the system was cut-over to the new BT one your openworld address was left off a list and needs to be re-inserted or re-validated (or something). Something will need to be re-written in the system so that your address reappears. For entirely different reasons I lost addresses which had to be revived by BT - which they did perfectly well once they understood the problem.
Much appreciated. I will pursue.
