My latest bill had an international phone call registered as 6 hours (£43), which in actual fact was only a voicemail call of less than 2 mins. How it happened is a mystery, line was probably not disconnected at either end.
A complaint was registered with BT billing, but they were not prepared to waive this charge, as it was registered under calls made from my number, full stop.
How was this allowed to happen, with all fancy technology they have in telephone exchanges, and voicemail systems that do not have a limit on how long a voicemail can last?
Anyone else with international voicemails in the region of 5-6 hours?
Enough said - its a bye bye to BT, its been good more than 15 years, but its time to move on.
