Good morning

Since I was moved to the new email format I have not been able to mark calendar items with different colours. I have tried using the edit button and various other ideas with no luck.

Any ideas on how this might be solved, the previous calendar was so easy to use but obviously there is no going back unfortunately.

There does not appear to be any way to change the text  colour or to infill the day' box  with colour.

When you are in your calendar, when you are adding an event if you go to Category and click the arrow to give the drop down box it will offer you a selection of categories some of which are colours. It does not change the colour of the text or the day's box but it does let you label the event as a "coloured" event, what ever that means!

I have  been there, done that , as they say. What I really would like is  for example, all the birthdays for the month in say red and meetings in blue, then easy to pick out at a quick glance. I fail to understand the logic - as you do - of saying something is' red' when it does not appear to show it anywhere.

It does not seem to be a big thing for BT to achieve this simple step so perhaps if enough folk will complain and they will add it. In hope but not expectation!

I have no idea what the categories are supposed to do. Perhaps it is a "work in progress" because it certainly seems like a waste of time.

I know exactly what you are wanting to do but unfortunately the BT calendar does not appear to offer that.  You may be able to seek out a better online calendar, which I wouldn't imagine will be hard, that suits your needs,

I use the Google calendar with my gmail account. I am not sure if you can link it to your BT email /calendar as I have not attempted that nor would I want to. If you do an Internet search I'm sure you will find something suitable.

I too have recently been downgraded to BT Mail as well and whereas I found the colour coded "Flags" quite use-ful this new Calendar is use-less when it comes to (amongst other things!) trying to organise Calendar items. What is the point in calling a category "Red" or "Yellow" when all you see is a grey blob! Can BT please fix this?
