Hi @Sleepysurvivor, welcome to the forum, and thanks for highlighting this. I'll get this reported so that the information is updated.

Hi @Sleepysurvivor This kind of issue usually happens when trying to download firmware on the wrong product. Please would you check and confirm that you have the Wifi extender 1200 as per the product label and let me know.
cheers
John
"11ac Dual-Band Wi-Fi Extender 1200", per the label on the back of the extender itself.

Thanks for posting back confirming that. Have a look at the >> user guide << where you'll get the number for product support who'll be able to give you a hand with this.
Cheers,

Hi Sleepysurvivor,
Could you try downloading the file again from the BT.com website. Sometimes a file can get corrupted during download.
For info, the file size should show in your file explorer as 4,326KB
Could you also confirm what version of FW is already on your AC1200?
Many Thanks
Darren_B
same file size, 4326kb.
currently on V1.2.0.
still says "disc image file is corrupted."
Hi Sleepysurvivor,
Can you please confirm that you are attempting to install the update via the Extender's web interface as described in the User Guide, rather than by just double-clicking on the file itself?
Sorted it.
Like you were suggesting, I logged into the extender and there is an option to browse my files and select the update
from my downloads.
Thanks for the help.
