Firstly, I'm not sure whether this is the correct forum...
When I go to the BT home page (which is my Home page) I get product details and if I click on any product I am told that I have exceeded the number of login attempts and to wait 20 minutes before trying again. if I wait I get the same message. I have checked with BT and they confirm that I am logged in, but cannot tell me how to log out so that I can start again. we even had a circular argument along the lines of "If you get your account number (which I cannot because I cannot look at my account because the MY BT Home page will not allow me to access any part of BT because I have exceeded the number of log inn attempts....). Why don't you log out and log back in? I cannot because there is no Log Out button, well you could change your BT ID, but you need your account number..."
I know I get monthly emails about my account, but the full account number is not given. I asked the advisor to tell me how long is left on my contract, but he needs my account number.
I am now in the position that I cannot either find out if my personal offers from BT any any good, or cancel my contract, because I do not know whether I am still in contract.

Top of the page ...on the right hand side...there is a log out if you hover on MyBT (in the purple banner).
What do you see when you do that?
Alan, that’s the problem, there is no log out info at the top right of the page, or anything else anywhere at the top of the page.
Problem solved! This was a Firefox problem and after reinstalling Firefox I am now back in business and able to log in and , more importantly out of My BT.
that is odd.
can you share a screen shot at all ? So experts here might be able to understand more.
