change of telephone number

hello 🙂

 

seems like an ex has been posting my landline tel number of various adult wesbites and I've been getting some strange calls...

 

what's the best thing to do - a change if telephone number..?

Call BT. You might need a reference number though from the police...You'd have to report nuisance calls

WHen the next one phones ask them to remove your number from the database. It may do something but usually very doubtful, I would report the calls to the nuisence calls advice line as from previous experience BT get very reluctent to do a telephone number change, I had the get the police involved before BT would change the number.

Also are you registered with the telephone preference service (TPS)? If not I would register with them aswell
