No I mean the over paid CEO needs to get his head out of the clouds and make the decision that will move the hard working call staff out of the firing line and give the other users of BT services the contact they are entitled to.

BT staff will undoubtedly be suffering as everyone else. We all need to accept some reduced services in the current climate, I'm far concerned as to when I'll next see bog roll in the supermarket. Each to their own I guess.

What is this obsession with bog roll ?  Do waht we did for some time after the war, use newspaper.

I actually managed to get a four pack of toilet roll this morning. Jeez! I held it above my head like I'd lifted the FA Cup. Good grief what is going on. We can see here the best & worst of human nature. People are dying for god's sake. Does it really matter if BT or Sky can't provide live sport which is far beyond their control. This is serious, personally I'll just be glad to survive the whole thing. I don't care whether BT have "broken their contract" or not. Get real people.

And as stated this is a community help forum for users of BT TV. Please don't vent your spleen here, it won't help anyone.

Because people are not receiving any Live Sports ?

I wouldn't pay my window cleaner if he didn't clean my windows ?

Re: contacting BT to cancel BT Sport

Bit unfair on the call centres for long waits. Anyone stopped to think they may be understaffed? There’s an illness going round where some people HAVE TO self isolate. Not sure if any of you have seen it. Look at Virgin. They’ve had whole call centres close.

That is why a blanket suspension of subscriptions for BT Sport would reduce volume a calls being received.

Re: contacting BT to cancel BT Sport

Lots of posts online of people getting this paused, 3 months for free, re-credited accounts etc all via the myBT app and live chat

And this now appears to be permanently offline (for last 2 days) and phone lines are swamped

So why dont they just do this for every subscriber automatically like they should

Good grief!!! I have a feeling the next few weeks will show how minor this issue is. History will not remember the stark fact that BT and Sky didn't have any live sports in the Spring of 2020. I just hope this virus doesn't affect your family.

Re: contacting BT to cancel BT Sport

Cancel BT Sport

I've been trying to call for 3 days to cancel BT Sports on 08007831401 .  Just end up in a loop with no indication of how many people are in the queue ahead of me.  Currently been in that loop for 50 minutes and am about to hang up so I can get on with my day.

I'm a monthly customer and this billing period ends on the 20th.  I'm now going to cancel the direct debit and will use this post as evidence that I wanted to cancel before that.

Because it's absurd that I can rack up hundreds of pounds in charges online but the moment I want to cancel, I am made to jump through hoops to reduce your churn rate - it's 2020 ffs!  I never thought I'd see the day where Sky trounces BT for customer service.  I was able to pause my Sky Sports sub by clicking a button...

Re: contacting BT to cancel BT Sport

time has come to cancel direct debit and  say goodbye from all that is BT.

Its diabolical customer service its restrictive moderators who prohibit supply of information that is in the public domain, prevent free speech , allow veiled threats but only if they come from BT employed deflectors and who get all uppity when you criticise them.

So all I will say is  GOOD  RIDDANCE
