Moved into a new build over a month ago and having problems getting ourphone line and broadband installed and working. As far as i can tell all the ducting and cabling to the house has been done but BT keep telling me that Open reach have still not updated whether they have finished their cabling work. Each time i call for an update i get a different answer!! We just keep being given different dates for updates and each time get told very vagues things like "more work is needed".
please can someone advise how to get an accurate update as to what is happening and when we can expect to have out line up and working??
as new build is the FTTH - fibre to the home?
should your developer not be pushing openreach to complete the work as there is nothing BT Retail can do until openreach instal line

I filled out that form a few weeks ago and the latest response i had from them was that the work should have been done by the 1st Oct. I emailed them back after the first asking for an update and have had no reply.
The builders just keep telling us that they have "done all of their bit" and its now down to open reach who won't speak to customers. The BT people just keep saying "open reach say they need to do more work" but don't elaborate on what or when ???
