e-mail probs

That's 4x today I've had to reset my e-mail password.  I used to be able to reset my password quite quickly but now I'm getting a 'try again in 15 minutes' message.  But I wind up having to reset it anyway.

I had a similar problem previously and was advised that the new BT mail had been indefinetly suspended (no reason given) and that the problem seemed to manifest itself with certain addresses.  There is no cure and the problem persisted until I got it down to perhaps once a month password changes.  But now it's back with a vengence.

As a retired employee I'd like to stay with BT, especially as a dyslexic issue causes me untold difficulty learning a new system / provider - but it's looking like gmail might be the only way to go, despite the aggro it'll cause me.

However, if I can get in touch with the specialist team mentioned in other posts I'll give it one last chance.  I've used these people when I was at work and generally they are the mutts nutts.  But I was always referred to them by a 3rd party.  Can a moderator please refer me to them?  I need help, I need it now, or I'll just have to go.

Re: e-mail probs

I hope you have better luck than I've had so far.   These problems with BT email must be made known to customers.   It is a disgrace that each issue is treated as a one-off without the unsuspecting victim being made aware of the appalling and time-consuming runaround on which they are embarking.

Mods and even distinguished sages who grace these threads are aware of the problems....

I would like to point out that the distinguished sages are not BT employees, they are customers just like you. They have no inside track and carry no more weight with BT than any other posters on this forum. They are no more aware of what is causing this problem than you do. I doubt, however, if our chat will help resolve the issue and shall not respond to you further.

Re: e-mail probs

Though my current anger towards BTs endemic and complete lack of professional customer service I feel I have to point out the Volunteers on this form are truly great and much appreciated in helping resolve SINGLE issues. But recurring problems that I believe lie with BT YAHOO and not the customers are another matter all together. Where as the volunteers really do try their best to help on this forum, BT itself could not give a flying expletive deleted towards their customers and their insane technical support system confirms this.

Re: e-mail probs

You are quite right. I was just hoping that if a moderator (I'm thought they might be BT) could possibly put in touch with BT's top resolution people. It was a big mistake leaving without their direct no.
