After several calls to helpline I'm no better off.
I had a few months away from my PC, ipad & iphone and when I returned my BT email no longer works on Outlook.
I had recently changed by password so looked to use my new password, sadly no joy. after speaking to the helpdesk i was advised to remove my account from outlook and start again.
I did this and no joy. So i then tried my iphone, my Ipad, my work laptop and the only way i can log in to view my BT emails is via a browser.
I currently have a freshly installed windows 10 pc with Outlook 2016 waiting for my emails. but cant get it to work.
Is there anyone out there that might be able to offer any advise on how I can get my BT email back onto all of my devices without having to use my web browser?

First of all make sure you are setting up Outlook manually using these settings and not letting a setup wizard do it.
Just tried the recommended settings and got this message
If you are still on the BTYahoo mail system (you can tell by any Yahoo branding on the webmail page), you could try logging in at mail.yahoo.com and the out again, this sometimes kicks client access into life.
Still no good, have logged out of BT Yahoo mail on my browser, but still getting server errors when trying to add my account to Outlook
Not BTYahoo, try the vanilla Yahoo at mail.yahoo.com
I am not able to log in to yahoo mail using that link, password is not recognised. everytime i reset my yahoo password it takes me to yahoo.com email address and not my btinternet.com address
There are a number of posts where the passwords don't appear to be synchronised between the server email clients use and webmail. I will ask if one the mods can help.
