I got a email regarding watching bt sport using windows 8 on vista. This email came from the managing director of customer service. He is trying to give me tips on our to resolve this problem I can assure you that I have been down every avenue regarding his suggestions and they don't work. He went on to say that if you need further help you can contact our tech department at a chargeable service price he didn't quote. Thanks BT but no thanks. Lets face it. It just don't work on IE8 vista use firefox.

his soloution worked for me using firefox and windows 8.1
did all the recomended fixes but this worked
I was having playback issues on all Silverlight-based streaming services and solved it with the following steps:
- Browse on your computer to “C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\PlayReady\”.
- Change the name of “mspr.hds” to “mspr.hds.old”. (In other words, you want to get rid of the mspr.hds file, and you are renaming it just so that you have a backup copy of it
