Re: existing customers to be in a much worse situation due new new packages

TBH, you could remain on whatever you currently have , but if there was a discount period and that has ended , the price may go up, if you want to renegotiate a new discount, then you may have to move to a package they currently sell rather than remain on a legacy package, and it does seem that the ‘NowTV’ based packages don’t suit everyone

it seems anything is possible with BT if you pay more

@londonman I've just looked through your previous posts and in every single one you are moaning about BT's charges or service being unfair or expensive. If you are so dissatisfied, why not just move to another supplier

Re: existing customers to be in a much worse situation due new new packages

As I have said elsewhere I'm mostly happy with the move from Entertainment Max HD package to the Now TV Big Entertainment package. I do miss a few channels from the old package but overall I'm  happy with the new package and the Now TV Big Entertainment package plus HD add on is almost the same price as I was paying before I changed TV packages. Only thing is line rental has gone up almost 50p.

@londonman if you don't like the new BT TV packages or what BT has to offer then as said move to someone else.
I did last year look at moving to PlusNet. I know it's a BT company but overall I happy with BT and even more happy my Wifi has improved since they gave me the Home Hub 6(Smart Hub).

I do also like the Youview box.

@ney I'm with you... By changing to the new package, my bill has gone up but I have full Sky Sports and the picture quality on NowTV with the HD Boost is outstanding and the value for money will improve next week with the new channel additions 👌

of course i can move if i dont like it

but that is missing the point of the my discussion of being required to move to a service where i will be losing the channel i like and paying alot more

so no issue with your bill going up ?

bills just continue to go up ..

i am sorry to say but it seems the experts on this forum seem to be apologists for BT ..
