Ok, sorry to sound incredibly dumb at this point but i have disabled/enabled both LOCAL AREA CONNECTION and LOCAL AREA CONNECTION 2 and now the troubleshooter reads WINDOWS COULD NOT AUTOMATICALLY DETECT THIS NETWORKS PROXY SETTINGS ????? It would appear this has removed the previous detection but has opened another? Has this anything at all to do with why my phone is so affected by the new hub please? Many thanks.
