Should be about a max 80Mb DL and 20Mb UL I think.
If you're doing a speed test make sure to do it via the LAN cable not wirelessly.
the speeds curiousfollow quotes is cabinet to modem.
I seem to remember reading that exchange to cabinet link would cope with about 80 full speed connections, so around 80x80Mbps=6,400 Mbps.
I can't find my source for that though and my memory isn't marvellous: someone will almost certainly come in and correct me ....
The amount of connections available in the cabinet depends on the type and there is enough bandwidth for a theortical maximum of 80/20 on each line back to the exchange.
I'm asking about the fibre speed from the exchange to the Fibre Cabinet not the bit between the Cabinet and the property!
- I would have though that the speed would be around several hundred Mbps enough to serve a fully connected Fibre Cabinet.
The cabs are uncontested at the moment iirc. Each card in the cab has its own fibre back to the exchange, again iirc.
