google on hub config - home hub

Hi ive purchased a google onhub for IFTT intergration, i basically want to turn my home hub 4 into a modem.

i have conected the 2 via ethernet and my wifi works, however i want to dissable DHCP on the homehub so i can utilise the onhub more.

When i do this i get a sign in request when using wifi.

these are some of the options i have ( limited for a fancy router i know)

will i need to type in information with regards to the pppoe, all i can find on the bt router is bthomehub@btbroadband.com with a password that is stared out.

also my bt homehub has the address of 192.168.1.254

Re: google on hub config - home hub

Home Hubs don't have a modem mode.  All the home router functionality is turned on permamently.

Re: google on hub config - home hub

Not really, modem like functionality, but not true modem. The PPP layer, routing and NAT will still be dealt with by the hub.
