I've been having speed issues with BT broadband for about 3 weeks now. I've tried the stuff detailed on the website, changed the filter, and currently have the homeub plugged into the master socket rather than through an extension. Can anyone help with sorting this out, it's driving me up the wall....... Cheers in advance
Speedtest and homehub stats gives me the following output:
Download speedachieved during the test was - 50 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 50-250 Kbps.
Your DSL Connection Rate :160 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 135 Kbps
|ADSL line status|
I can only suggest calling india on 0800 111 4567 and ask to speak to a supervisor if you have already called them.
Welcome to the BT Community Forums.
I'd like to help with this can you drop me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your details I can run some diagnostics on the network.
Also check out this link and follow the steps to see if it offers any help
Being that all the last speedtester results are stored with BT, I would suggest that you email the mod team on email@example.com with the main account holders name, account number and a link to this. I'm sure they'll get to the bottom of this for you.
