hi,
it seems like a silly questions but I'm struggling with it. We upgraded from normal broadband to full fibre and received the hub 2.0 and new digital voice phones.
The phones are on but they keep saying we need to set it up.
Currently, nothing is connected to the green socket on the back of the hub 2.0 where it says phone. Does some cable need to go there? if so, which cable? it has a long and thin socket and my old BT socket has both that and the more square one
You don't need any cable. Just go to hub manager 192.168.1.254 and enter admin password then you should see your phone number. If you select that then you can set up your phone from there. Just follow instructions on phone
You should have received a leaflet with your Digital Voice phone(s) which tells you how to connect to the Smart Hub 2.
You don't need any cables but follow the instructions on the handset which involves pressing the WPS button on the Hub when the handset asks for it.
See:

for details.
It just says not configured
then you cannot connect your phone so you need to phone the FTTP on 08005874787 and get then to sort out you DV connection
