http://bthomehub.home/ no longer works? why?

hi, why does http://bthomehub.home/ not web browser just says cannot find server? its a BT Hub 4.

http://192.168.1.254 does work though and the internet seems to work fine? but its really annoying, is it faulty?

please dont just say use http://192.168.1.254, http://bthomehub.home/ used to work 100% fine but why not now? does not matter which web browsers you use or wether its windows or mac.

Re: http://bthomehub.home/ no longer works? why?

Are you using BTs DNS servers, or are you using another one like OpenDNS or Google Public DNS?

If you use another DNS sever, instead of the default of 192.168.1.254, then http://bthomehub.home will not be resolved, as it only exists as a local DNS entry within the home hub.
