Smiley Frustrated

so I have this problem back again...........

My profile is now at 6.5

actual acheived is 5.91 down and .45 up.

BIG improvement after your advice.

but I'm still getting the timeout problem when FTP'ing ?

quick recap....... i can download small files a few at a time (using filezilla but others are the same).

If I try to download my full webspace (25mb) part way through it stops saying timeout error.

At this point I can connect to anything else from the same laptop (wireless or ethernet make no difference) APART from my webspace or anything on it (email etc).......but I can connect to the space from my mobile or from anything that does not go through my home hub.

If I reboot the home hub i can connect again, but the next day I have to go through it all again.

BT are convinced they have nothing wrong and so are my ISP

bit stuck now................................

Re: hub 2 throttling ?

My host suggested ttying WS_ftp Pro with some specific settings...............made no difference.

I have some space with HostPapa that I had forgotten about!!

so I have just tried with FileZilla and WS_ftp uploading and downloading a coupkle of times the same folder that fails with my host

and have had no problem Smiley Surprised

is there anything that could be happening (permisions or something) with my homehub or BT account with one specific domian but not with others ?
