hub 4 wi fi dongle

i have got a bt hub 4 and have a laptop and a printer both are 800 11 n. sometimes the signal drops out when i am in another room from the hub do i need to use a bt dongle on my pc to get a better signal.

@helzapoppin before getting an extender have you tried changing the wireless channel and separating the SSID's as these changes may help improve your wireless performance?

my hub chanels are 2.4 chanel 6, 5ghs chanel 40 so i have not change them, does it make a difference that the 5ghs is 800.11.a/n and my laptop is 800.11. n.

manually select one of the 2.4Ghz channels there are 13 of them to choose from channels 1-6-11 are the most used as to the 800.11.a/n and .11.n it will make no difference
