Re: hub keeps disconnecting + slow downstream its beyond a joke ..

One of 2 things has happened here, you've either reset the router multiple times in fairly quick succession in an attempt to get a better speed, and what's more you did it at night, which is not good ... and the noise margin has risen from target to 16db, but as yet, the BRAS server has not been updated from the rate adaption module at the dslam (rambo), and the IP is still up there. But unfortunately within the hour it will update, and the IP will plummet. OR ..... you have suddenly got a line fault, that is causing loss of signal, and high error rates, and has caused DLM to reduce the throughput and raise INP accordingly.

Re: hub keeps disconnecting + slow downstream its beyond a joke ..

hi your connection speed is considerably faster the errors are concerning though it is noticeable that this hub is showing fast and the other hub interleaved some of those errors would change if this was interleaved there have been a number of disconnections was this due to you setting this hub up or was it restarting on its own

Re: hub keeps disconnecting + slow downstream its beyond a joke ..

the hub is restarting on its own

altough it didnt restart in the last couple of hours im not sure if it will stop forever

oh and my phone line is really bad its hissing and making crackling noises so i think its all due to my phone line and not the hub

Then you need to report a bad line, the bb will look after itself.

when you phone bt to report your line noise do not mention broadband as when the line is sorted your broadband will improve soon after
