Why can i not log into Bt email account on laptop when I usually use Outlook on mobile devices without a rproblem I can log into MyBT ok but keep getting the message that "i am not logged for emai - click here" when i do this it just takes me round in circles getting me to change passwords etc etc and still comes back to the same message on login attemps.

Please don't change any settings on your laptop, nor delete the account/re-add - or change the password.
The issue is with BTinternet servers with access via app/clients like Outlook - whereas webmail via a browser usually works. The typical thing to do is simply wait, as this fault seems to last from a few hours to a few days for some people. During this time, it's best to turn off any "auto-checks every few minutes".
