intermittent wireless connectivity across a range of devices

I have a problem where wireless drops out intermittently. Initially this happened maybe once a week, but now is occuring dailiy on a whole range of devices - laptop, mac, ipad, iphones.

watching on the iphone, i can see wireless dropping connection on the iphone continually attaching / dropping from the wireless network, eventually giving up.

Resetting the router does not recover the problem.

Any ideas or suggestions what is going on?

thanks

Does this only happen with wireless devices? What Homehub do you have?

Have you seen this thread about the Homehub 3

Re: intermittent wireless connectivity across a range of devices

It could be interference from a neighbour's wireless devices.  If you haven't already done so, try turining off the automatic channel selection, and try different channels manually.

The channels overlap, so there's no point in trying ones next to each other.  In practice, it's easiest just to try 1, 6 and 11.

You can get free WiFi analysers for Android and Windows (and perhaps others) which show how the channels near you are being used.  But be aware that they are unlikely to show other wireless devices (such as baby monitors).
