Re: internet access

Yes buy a cheap Ethernet splitter. I use it without a problem. Place the ethernet cable from the Power Adapters into one of the sockets and then with two further ethernet cables connect to the Vision Box and your TV.

Yes, is your home hub near to your TV?

If not, and you are using powerline adapters, then you will need to buy a small Ethernet switch to allow both to connect together.

This is a home networking issue.

Re: internet access

Stuart,

I moved it here as its really just a home networking issue, not specific to BT Vision.

But we both agree on the same solution Smiley Wink

You posted in the correct board to start with. Its just that we try and keep BT Vision service related problems in the BT Vision board.

Home networking issues are best sorted here, as they can get quite involved sometimes, and we don`t want to bore the Forums BT Vision experts Smiley Wink

If you need any more help, please don`t hesitate to ask her.

Re: internet access

If you have a spare router these can usually be used as a simple network switch by going into the settings and disabling both DHCP and wireless.
