All weekend i have been getting good speeds with my modem syncing at 50mb/6mb, today at 9:00am it resynced at 44mb/5.5mb so i fired up dslstats to see that interleave is now on with a value of 383 and INP is set at 3.
Yesterday i was getting no FEC errors now im getting around 17000 every 15 mins. SNR is the same at around 6.5.
Now the strange thing is ive just done the speed test and results are 48mb/6.5mb and modem states max download of 53mb and 8.5 up.
Can anyone explain whats going on

Possably the broadcom sensitivity error issue on an ECI eci cabinet ?
{Reading on kitz about boardcom and ECI and how errors are reported differently ( Feel free to laugh if its totally off base, as I'm only learning this myself} 🙂
just reading my post now that im on main pc should have said
interleave is now on with a value of 873 and INP is set at 3
FEC errors reach over 3300000 (3 million) for the 24 hr period

Once interleaving has been applied to your line, one of the effects of this
apart from the higher ping is you also lose some of your sync rate.
This has happened to me.
I used to get around the 58mb achievable sync rate but since interleaving
was activated around the two weeks ago I have never been able to connect
with a higher sync rate than around the 48mb though most of the time now
I have noticed I only connect now at around the 46mb.
If interleaving has just been applied to your line then you might not be able
to connect with the maximum achievable sync rate you were getting before
unless the line errors stop and the interleaving is turned off by the DLM when
it sees the errors have disappeared.
Seems to be my upload speed that is suffering the most at moment, sitting watching line errors (either that or emerdale) hoping to see something that triggers the spikes in noise

with interleaving on those errors you are seeing are corrected errors.
when your on full fastpath the modem does not log any errors at all.
the counters are corrected errors.
when you see you counters moving its a 100% sure its interleaving.
im using dslstats do a search and you will find it.
Also just off the phone to bt who phoned me as i reported line noise last week, guy was very good and said they had run tests and noticed a few errors but it had stabled out now, asked if it was windy over weekend (which it was), so i would think culprit for my line noise is between pole and house. Anyway i have to keep an eye on stats and get back in touch if i notice any pattern with errors

Hi Kenny.
Ccould you please check to see whether eDMT Tool works with your new Zyxel SBG 3300 router.
You can download from here.
http://www.fruk.net/downloads/eDMT-rmod.zip
If it does work then it will also show you information of your line status and etc.
