I have the same problem and am only able to access yahoo groups using the incognito tab on Chrome - I suppose it's a cookie issue, but clearing them does not help.
I have tried to contact the mod (DanielS) who fixed this issue for another member, but I cannot find the contact link on his page.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi @Woodsider Sorry you are experiencing this problem. The issue was fixed last year and you should not be having this fault.
Do you have an BT account? Are you getting the same error messages that the OP had on the other thread?
Post back and let me know.
Cheers
John
Hi John,
If I click on a Yahoo link, I'm instantly directed to the BT.com logon page.
My first internet contract was with BT and email with BYyahoo back in 2008, which is why I still have a xxxx@btinternet.com logon for yahoo. Since then I've swapped providers at the end of each contract - I had a BT broadband account last year but I'm with plusnet now.
However, I've had the problem for several years (since BT and Yahoo parted company?). I've been using the incognito workaround, but I keep huntng for a real solution!
I can give you my btinternet.com email if you have a private message option.
Thanks,
Woodsider
Hi @Woodsider Thanks for posting back that information.

Hi @Woodsider,
Thanks for getting in touch. I'm sorry to hear about the redirect Yahoo have in place. When I contacted Yahoo in the past they picked it up as an exception. Unless you have an active BT Broadband or BT Premium Mail account I can't personally have Yahoo check it. The quickest way to get this fixed is to contact Yahoo Customer Services directly as it will be them who fix it for you.
Thanks
DanielS
