my 'new YouView+ box just arrived - without a remote controller
Best call BT, this is a user to user forum so no-one here can send you a remote. There are mods who can help but they have a 2-3 day response time so you'll get far faster help by calling BT.
I contacted BT as suggested - was promised a remote controller would arrive today between 7am and 6pm. Time now 7:20pm remote controller has not arrived.
'New' remote controller arrived this afternoon (not yesterday which was what I was promised) after lots of trials including contacting BT and going through three factory resets and other procedures as directed by BT, I was told that the remote controller was incorrect - I had been sent a Vision box not a YouView+ box remote controller. I recieve the correct remote contriller within the next two business days. So my problem is not solved.
I sent a message to one of the mods asking if they could take a look at this - there are other posters called Community Leaders who may have a more direct or faster way of getting their attention for you.

A 'remote' arrived this afternoon (a day later than promised). It's not the 'remote' shown in the 'Your guide to YouView+ from BT - Quick start up guide' and there are no instructions with it. The remote is one that's wider at the ends than it is in the middle. I did get some help by phoning 0800 111 4567 and with information supplied from there have got it to work Box and TV. But some sort of instruction booklet would be useful.
