new customer, after 3 weeks, everythings gone wrong

first of all befor I coppy and past somthing ive been trying to peace together for the last week, If like to just say... When I first placed my order somthing happend and the engineer didnt turn up and didnt phone me to say or say why.

 

Ive had to replace the order and hav now been charged swice (two £50) for this reason and the second time they didnt even ask me!!!!

 

ANAYWAY I just wont the internet to WORK and the way it was for the frst mounth. Thats with the trace root (tracert) to start like it did the day I got it yes 7ms from my first out bound hop. now its 25ms. from 20-30 ingame ping to 75-170ms ping. really really not good.

 

The full story. sorry this is coppyed and pasted so It might seem worded strange for this forum but all help is well needed.

 

 

 

NEW Customer.. Your broadband service started on : 21 apr 2010
 BT Total Broadband Option 1
Later moved over to Option 2 and promist by three
representatives of BT over the phone and one on the internet
befor even making the order "Service never changes
in quilty over the diffrent bt-BB Option's".


happend to my latency on my line witch was
also getting the full 20mb down and 105kbs up.
High lvl's of interleaving? or some sort of tickrate
equivalent setting set to a 3rd of the rate it used to
be.


Since the 19/05/2010 when my connection droped & came back,
my ping IS more than 3 times as high.

 

my rout test..... (tracert)


The ping (latency) use to start at 6, 7 or 8ms then work up to
15ms. now it starts at 23ms and works up to 70ms but ingame
its much worse with server that used to be 30ping ingame are
now 70-110m. Jumpy game play ingame and connection loss at times.


In game servers I would get as low as 15 ping but normly
20-30 (befor 19/05/2010). NOW in the same servers I get
50-100 ping!!!!


I would not care about all this but my games have become
less smooth and jumpy at times.

after buying all the parts I needed to make a computer
run with no floors its a real letdown to see my internet
quilty drop after my trial time is over and no one at
bt has a clue whats going on. 0_o


The problem is that none of bt's staff seem to know why
my ping has got so high from the day I got first
connected and for this reason I wont to cancle my
connection free of charge.

PS. disconneted from servers at leat once every so many
hours witch is not acceptable but this dose not matter
as Im NOT willing to pay for this high latency anyway.

 recap, phone help line only mkaes it wrose. Now ive lost
the 20mb download and upload has also become worse but
best of all my ping has also got wrose. loss of connection
seconds after joining a game now.

LETS JUST REMEMBER... the DAY my phone line was installed,
the second the guy finnished I pluged in my modem and I
thought I had found the mothership.

NO im just being misled by bt. made to belive Im going to
get top quality but after the trial is up they nerf it!
Othere words your porfile gets migrated after so long
or the option3 is much more unstable but NOBODY KNOWS!!!

download speed has droped over the last days from 19mb to 16mb and upload was 105kbs not its 80kbs and this was after asking for a fix. all they have done is made it wrose.

 

 

Im not get best possible speed or stability for my line as your contract stats as bt them selvs have aslo blatently now droped my connection speed as well and tickrate.

 

 

I wont to end my order free of charge.

 

 

p.s I know my dl speed is ok but thats not the point and ive come from a isp that was giving me 2mb on a upto when my m8 on the 2mb service was getting more than me on my like even thou I had a upto20 service.

ive had my fair shair of bad internet for one life time.

ahh 19Mb dropped down to 16Mb sorry I have to say NO man. Stop wining. I am on up to 8 meg I get 1.5... but Not righty now as its broken Im getting 0.1 megs YAY takes 5 min to load a webpage. Do u really need 19 megs? what do u stream Super HD3D TV?

I am no expert. Correct me when I am wrong. Learning is good!

when your told your quality in service will not change and in your trial time it works great and then after 3 weeks its not good for what i bought it for im ment to just be happy because im getting a good download over othere customers, this is not very professional.

 

 

This is about ping and the faced of the matter my service changed.

 

If I wonted a service to just download with id go back to my local isp with unlimmited download and no CAPS on your line because some othere angry customers in your area not getting there speed!!!!!!!!

if you really wont to know its because im not very literate and so far bt have taken full advantage of this, Would you belive it.

So would I believe BT have taken advantage of you not being very literate ....... no.

Do I also believe that BT can guarantee a "ping" rate? .......  no.

Do I believe BT have somehow manipulated your connection in the past 3 weeks ?........  no.

Do I believe they have capped it? .....  maybe, if there's a reason to ... 

 

Did you read or get someone to read the Terms and Conditions when you signed up to BT Broadband?

 

If so you would know about the fair usage policy, and reasons for capping. (that's if they did).

 

I think there are other circumstances to do with the connection, technical ones maybe .... and that's why you are annoyed at its performance, which incidently may not be BTs fault either .... it could be yours.

 

If you eventually get around to being positive about fixing the problems, feel free to post back with some line stats and speed test, at which point someone may offer to help you....

haha 🙂 this took no time at all but Its all guess as you didnt reply to what should i post but its ok Im

positive about this problem not being a problem soon. I can use the local provider wile I wait and seak help.

Your DSL Connection Rate :19635 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM) is very high but ur ip profile is set to 250 kbps did u keep restarting the hub? Have u had that 19635 kbps downstream steady over the whole 3 weeks. It seems ur hub hasnt synced properly. Im not expert just trying to help.
