not enough line plants in my locality

So a while back i posted about being unable to get a phone line installed at the new build i moved into too. Ive had a helpful moderator dealing with this since then. Today i was informed that my line was being planned and surveyed as there arent enough wires to connect me to the network. Now my question is this what kind if work would openreach need to do to connect my line? And what kind if time frame am i looking at for this work too be done?

Re: not enough line plants in my locality

That probably means running new cables through the ducts in your area (or along the poles, as applicable).  That could be from the local cabinet, or to it, depending where the lack of cable is.  Assume it will be a few weeks.
