Hi fenix & bugfinder,

 

I am sorry that you have had problems getting this sorted out.  Noise on your line can be a tricky one.  The fault is not always present and its hard for the engineers to fix it if the noise is not present when they attend, but I'll be happy to give you a both a hand with this.

the forum mods will help you they can take up to 3 working days to reply they are a very small team of BT specialists UK based who will contact you personally by either by phone or email

since posting here the problem has now got worse

 

because the broadband line keeps dropping regularly( noisy line) the actual d/l speeds have collapsed. The broadband is syncing lower and lower and the IP Profile never has a chance to recover.

 

At the moment for instance my sync rate is 928kbps ( normal is around 1200-1300) and the d'l rate is .29mb
