i had a boost engineer out who couldnt find a fault but took interleave off for me. come 3am and one router reset caused it to go back on, all because of a fimrware update.... there was a fault at the exchange that has apparently been fixed but i dont see any improvements what so ever. i get huge ping spikes and high packet loss when i download making gaming unusable. i thought with vdsl you were supposed to be able to do more at one time, i guess not, well not with bt anyway, sky fibre is a million times better.
So I have in my past had a QA job at a software company and decided to try each setting on and off one-by-one. I've just turned of UPnP which also turned the UPnP extended security and I've not disconnected for over 2 hours, I even managed to play a FIFA 15 game online. I was disconnecting every 15ish minutes. I'll report back on how this goes but if anyone else is having their connection dropped maybe you could try this as well? Let me know if you do and if it works 🙂
