Could anyone tell me if this modem router TP-link TD-W9970 N300 VDSL/ADSL is compatible with GFAST please

Thanks for the speedy reply
@Kippershed For G.Fast your options are extremely limited.
The BT Smart Hub2 (which you reject), the ASUS DSL-88U, the Draytek Vigor 166 (modem only, requires standalone router as well) or the Zyxel XMG3927-50A which can be used as a modem/router or modem only.
Thank you for your reply. Am I right in thinking the problem with GFAST compatibilty is the frequency that is pushed through it
No, not per se, it does use higher frequencies than VDSL but that is not the sole difference. Unfortunately, as it is a niche product that is now obsolescent, nobody will making G.Fast devices.
ok thanks for your response
Avoid the Zyxel XMG3927-50A if you can help it. The thing uses its onboard memory as a buffer even in modem mode, so it leads to horrific "buffer bloat". Oh and avoid the Asus DSL-AC88u too, it has G.Fast but it's a miracle if you can get a WiFi connection speed greater than 100Mbps on the thing. The Draytek Vigor 166 modem was a great piece of kit though, but I paid significantly less than it costs now!
Thank you for the information.
